CDBSF provides a website where users can read about the organization and it’s different opportunities and a service where users may  donate to the cause or apply for a scholarship (the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy applies to all site visitors, customers, and all other users of the site. Information We Collect

Scholarship Applications. We collect a variety of personal information with application. This includes: Your name, address, email address and phone number. This information is shared with the CDB Scholarship Board of Directors to insure proper delivery of your scholarship. We use your email to communicate with you about your application and to manage our customer relationship with you. When you apply for a scholarship, you may be added to our mailing list from which you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting us at info@craigdbutlerscholarship.com

How your information is used 

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to provide services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Your payment information. We collect payment information for each donation and registration payment but we do not store payment information on CDB Scholarship servers. Your payment information is securely communicated to and processed via our e-commerce software providers. All personal information collected for a donation is used for the fulfillment of that order and to manage our customer relationship with you.

Website Interaction. We only collect the personal information you voluntarily provide to us which may include: Your email address in order to subscribe to our mailing list; Your full name, email address and message in order to contact us via our contact form.

Activity. We may record information relating to your use of the Site, such as the searches you undertake, the pages you view, your browser type, IP address, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamp information. We use this type of information to administer the Site and provide the highest possible level of service to you. We also use this information in the aggregate to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the Site.
